Success in racing sport is all about marginal gains and the science behind Aerocoat enhances aerodynamic performance on the track and in the water.
The record breaking Yorkshire Rows became the oldest all-female crew to row the Atlantic when they completed the Row the Atlantic challenge from La Gomera in the Canary Islands to Antigua in 68 days last year.
Just weeks before the race started, the Yorkshire Rows boat was brought to Aerocoat’s HQ and given the hydrophobic nano crystal surface technology application to ensure the vessel wasn’t weighed down by barnacles and other ocean detritus that would add crucial time to their race due to drag in the water.
Aerocoat are also sponsoring the next generation of racing drivers with Lewis and Brad Kent using the technology across this year’s BRSCC Junior/Senior Fiesta Championship season with meetings at iconic British venues such as Brand’s Hatch, Silverstone and Donnington.
Both drivers will benefit from the Aerocoat properties that improve and maintain aerodynamic performance on the racing circuit.
